Chris Holder is a partner in the Commercial IT department of Bristows LLP. Chris started his career as an IT Commercial lawyer at IBM, where he worked as an in house attorney in the UK and South Africa. He then helped to set up the London office of IT specialists, Shaw Pittman, where he became a partner before moving on to partnership roles at BLG and Bird & Bird, before joining Bristows in 2014.
Chris is widely recognised as one of the leading IT lawyers in the UK and Europe and is an expert in IT infrastructure outsourcing, business process outsourcing, systems integration and complex commercial IT deals.
He speaks regularly on the subject of ITO and BPO and, more latterly, robotics - where Chris is recognised as being one of the first technology lawyers to recognise the importance of this topic and its implications for current legal principles and practice.
Chris is Vice Chair of the Technology Committee of the IBA.
