Dennis-Kenji Kipker

Dennis-Kenji Kipker is Research Managing Director at the Institute for Information, Health and Medical Law (IGMR) in Bremen, and has been a Visiting Research Fellow at the Graduate School of Law at Waseda University in Tokyo/Japan in 2017, and in 2018, Visiting Professor at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in Moscow. He is also a Board Member of the European Academy for Freedom of Information and Data Protection (EAID) in Berlin. The research interests of Dennis-Kenji Kipker focus on the interface between law and technology, particularly on international IT Security Law, Data Protection Law, and Intelligence Agency Law. Dr. Kipker also provides expert reports for several institutions, such as for the German Federal Ministry of Defence in questions of IT Security and for the Max Planck Society (MPG) in Data Protection matters.
