Severine Dusollier is Professor of Intellectual Property and Head of the Master in Innovation Law in the Law School of SciencesPo Paris. From 2006-2014, she was Professor at the University of Namur (Belgium), where she taught intellectual property and IT law, and the Director of the CRIDS (Research Centre in Information, Law and Society), gathering more than 40 researchers engaged in a wide area of technology-related issues. Recognised as an academic expert of copyright and IP, she has carried out research for the Belgian Government, WIPO, the Council of Europe, UNESCO, the European Commission and Parliament.
She is the holder of an ERC (European Research Council) research Grant (2014-2019) on commons and inclusivity in property.
She has been a visiting Fellow or Professor at the University of California, Berkeley (2001), at the European University Institute of Florence (2005-2006), at the University of Versailles (2007), at the University of Columbia (2011) and a Global Fellow at NYU (2017). She is a member of the Belgian Council of Intellectual Property, a co-founder of the European Copyright Society, and a Member of the Executive Board of ATRIP (International Association of Teachers and researchers in IP).
