Barrister, 4 Pump Court

Matthew Lavy is a barrister at 4 Pump Court, with a particular focus on technology-related disputes. He is regularly instructed on behalf of providers, purchasers and users of networks, computer systems, internet services and software across a variety of industry sectors. Disputes in which he has been instructed include those arising out of project failures and delays, IP licensing, copyright infringement, breach of confidence, outsourcing agreements, e-commerce, cyber risk and digital rights management. He also has expertise in cyber liability and the insurance of cyber risks. His clients regularly include tier-one IT suppliers, telecoms giants, and software and equipment suppliers with global reach. Matthew is a Trustee of the Society for Computers and Law.
