Alexander Blumrosen is an American attorney admitted to the Bars of Paris (1992) and New York (1987), with law degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Paris - I, specialized in the litigation and arbitration of international disputes, and technology law.
He is regularly appointed arbitrator in international disputes by parties and institutions, including in technology disputes, as well as by US courts as independent Commissioner (Hague Convention) for obtaining evidence in France in US judicial proceedings.
Former President of the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw), Alexander has been accompanying his clients for more than 25 years in the protection of personal data, the international transfer of cryptography, the negotiation of software licenses, and all aspects of e-commerce.
Alexander has been selected by the US Department of Commerce and the European Commission to be one of 23 people on the official list of arbitrators for disputes under the EU-US Privacy Shield. He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
