Miguel Viedma

Miguel is a dual Spanish and UK qualified lawyer with more than 17 years of experience working with leading groups at the forefront of technology and digital innovation, in different countries and jurisdictions and have been based in Spain, UK , Switzerland and France.
Miguel recently joined Capgemini from the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, where he worked for the Television and Marketing Services division. Amongst other responsibilities, Miguel was in charge of leading and managing the legal and strategic support to technology and digital projects and their implementation for the Olympic Games, working with the different IOC stakeholders, partners and suppliers. Miguel also worked with the different Organizing Committees of the Olympic Games (such as Rio 2016, Pyeong Chang 2018 or Tokyo 2020) in the development, implementation and management of their domestic commercial and supply programs, in particular on technology related areas.
Before the IOC, Miguel worked at the Atos Group where he held different managerial positions, including General Counsel of India, Middle East and Africa, General Counsel Global Sales, IP officer or General Counsel for the Major Events and Olympics business unit at worldwide level.
As member of the Capgemini Executive Legal Board (“ELB”) and Group Legal VP in charge of Digital and Business Innovation worldwide, Miguel’s main role is to develop the digital legal framework and expertise to support the Group’s strong ambition in the digital area.
