Nick Maltby

Nick Maltby is General Counsel and Company Secretary of Genomics England Limited, where he has worked since early 2013 when the company was set up.
Nick graduated from Magdalen College Oxford University with a First in Jurisprudence and has spent his career working for a number of UK law firms including as a partner at Pinsent Masons, DLA Piper and Bircham Dyson Bell.
Nick is a commercial lawyer, who specialises in projects and public procurement. Notable career highlights in the health sector include the NHS National Program for IT, the £232m Leeds Oncology Cancer Centre PFI project, the £450m Peterborough Hospitals PPP project and of course the 100,000 Genomes Project.
Nick was included in the Lawyer Magazine's Hot 100 in January 2015 and shortlisted in the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe 2015.
