Pascale Gelly is a data protection, privacy and information technology professional with over 20 years’ experience. She has extensive practice of emerging and international data protection issues, both in house with leading multinationals and as an outside counsel.

Working closely with Data Protection Authorities and European institutions, she has been strongly involved in elaborating the model clauses approved by the EC Commission in 2004 and in the adoption of Binding Corporate Rules as a data transfer mechanism. Pascale is an active player in privacy professionals associations, such as IAPP and AFCDP. Vice President of AFCDP (French Association of Privacy Practitioners) in charge of International Affairs, she is a leader of CEDPO (Confederation of European Data Protection Organizations), which she represents at the EU Commission’s multistakeholder group on GDPR.

Pascale’s curriculum: Master in Business & Tax law from University Paris II, LLM from Columbia Law School.
